Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is hiring a Level Two Machinist in Dillon, SC. You will operate 2-5 axis CNC cells and standalone machines, handle basic setup, load CNC programs, and perform tool offsets. Strong quality inspection skills and print reading are essential.

The role requires reliability for a Monday-Thursday night shift (6pm–6am) and adherence to safety and quality processes. Experience with automated systems and teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNC diploma/certification preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience operating CNC mills or lathes preferred.
• Machine Tool Technology degree a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate 2-5 axis CNC/Automated machine cells and standalone machines.
• Prepare machines with fixtures, settings, and tooling.
• Load and adjust CNC programs and offsets.
• Perform in-process inspections and use quality tools to verify parts.
• Maintain 6S standards and clean, organized work area.
• Work safely following plant safety guidelines and rules.
