Precision Castparts Corp. in Dillon, SC is seeking a Level Two Machinist to operate 2-5 axis CNC/automated machine cells and standalone machines. You will set up fixtures and cutting tools, load CNC programs, and inspect parts with advanced measuring tools.

Typically 4–6 years of manufacturing experience with basic print reading and CNC G/M codes is expected. The role is on-site with 2nd shift hours and a focus on safety and quality.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; CNC operator/machinist diploma or certification preferred.
• 4–6 years of manufacturing experience operating CNC mills or lathes.
• Machine Tool Technology degree is a definite plus. Military experience or technical certification/degree is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Train on 2nd shift, 6pm–6am.
• Receive and execute job assignments from supervisor/manager.
• Adhere to plant safety guidelines and quality processes.
• Perform machining operations on multiple parts with accuracy.
• Use measuring tools for in-process inspections and ensure conformance to specs.
• Rework out-of-tolerance parts with minimal supervision.
• Maintain equipment and keep work area 6S compliant.
• Communicate throughput and quality issues with shifts.
