Precision Castparts is seeking a Level Two Machinist to operate 2-5 axis CNC cells and standalone machines on a Fri–Sun night shift. Responsibilities include basic setup, tool changes, fixture prep, and running CNC programs with offsets.

You will perform quality inspections and work with automated systems to resolve production constraints. The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, HS diploma or GED, and knowledge of G/M codes.

Formación

• Basic English language skills and ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to pass customer testing/machining specs as required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions precisely.

Responsabilidades

• Operate 2-5 axis CNC/Automated cells and standalone machines.
• Set up machines with fixtures, tools, and offsets.
• Load and adjust CNC programs, offsets, and homing sequences.
• Use height gauges and bench inspection for quality checks.
• Prepare machines for automated line changes and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, 6S-standard work area and report issues.
• Communicate with shift team on production constraints and first piece acceptance.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and monitor oil/coolant levels.
• Work with safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
• Capable of operating an overhead crane and handling materials.
