CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate and maintain CNC machines, set up tools and fixtures, load materials, and monitor production to ensure parts meet specifications. The role requires following safety protocols and collaborating with senior machinists to improve skills and output.

Based in Agawam, MA, this onsite position offers exposure to precision machining environments with routine documentation of production records and a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Read and understand blueprints
• Understand machine operation process and the movement of completed components
• Use measuring tools as required
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely
• Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision
• Work as a productive team member who contributes to the organization’s success.

Responsabilités

• Set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures and materials
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Operate CNC machines to produce components and monitor performance
• Conduct routine quality inspections with precision instruments to verify dimensions
• Make tool changes, offsets and program adjustments as directed
• Perform basic machine maintenance like cleaning, lubrication and tool changes
• Identify and report machine malfunctions or quality issues
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Assist in documenting production records and logs
• Collaborate with senior operators to enhance machining skills

2-year technical certification or equivalent experience
