Job summary

RTX is seeking a skilled machinist for second shift to produce precision parts. You will program, operate CNC and manual machines, read blueprints and GD&T, and ensure parts meet specifications. You will inspect work, maintain SPC data, and support quality and safety standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years relevant exposure; certification on multiple programs is needed. Onsite role with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant mechanical experience.
• Certification in core discipline and multiple programs as described in the role.
• Experience operating CNC machining centers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce machined parts by programming, assembling, and operating CNC or manual machines.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, work orders, and plans to meet material and dimensional specs.
• Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts to sub-units or units.
• Take material measurements and select appropriate machines.
• Set up machining operations and adjust as needed.
• Conduct inspections and verify SPC charts and gauges.
• Maintain records and adhere to quality, safety, and CI standards.
• Work second shift and overtime as required.
