Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist in Richmond, IN to set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes. You will interpret blueprints, load materials, run jobs, and inspect parts to ensure they meet exact specifications.

Candidates should have 2+ years in a machine shop, strong attention to detail, and the ability to plan and multitask. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine shop experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow tolerances.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints and drawings.
• Program mills and lathes by entering instructions and setting tools/offsets.
• Set up mills and lathes with chucks, tools and fixtures.
• Load stock and maintain specifications through machining, drilling, grooving and turning.
• Perform first article inspections and use micrometers/calipers for part checks.
• Maintain equipment with preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Document actions in production and quality logs.
• Operate safely with required PPE and adhere to safety rules.
