Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in working in a machine shop environment.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role or purchasing environment or combination of experience and education.
• Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to coworkers, customers, and suppliers.
• Able to work independently on a project through its completion with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blue prints, engineering plans and drawings.
• Set up and Program CNC Lathe and Mill machining centers.
• Familiarity with G-Code, M-Code, & Conversational Programming.
• Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records.
