Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong reading and interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings.
• Competent in decimals, fractions, geometry and basic math.
• Strong reading, writing and English language skills; CNC programming and operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CNC lathe and auxiliary equipment to produce quality parts.
• Performs minor edits to CNC programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Reads blueprints and job instructions to meet specifications.
• Programs mills and lathes with precise instructions and measurements.
• Monitors specifications during operations and adjusts as needed.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and maintains tools and fixtures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and adheres to SOPs.
• Participates in continuous improvement and training sessions.
