Job summary
Applied Composites is seeking a CNC Machinist 2nd Shift to operate CNC machines and use existing programming to fabricate tools and parts to precise dimensions. The role requires several years of CNC operating experience and some exposure to programming, with a self-motivated work style for periods of indirect supervision.

Qualifications
- 2–3 years of CNC operating experience
- Some exposure to CNC programming preferred
- Education matching job expectations
- Experience with composites is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate a 5-axis CNC machine and run programs to meet tolerances
- Produce tools and parts to dimensional requirements
- Collaborate with Engineering & Production to solve problems
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Suggest technologies for continuous improvement
- Follow standard practices for working with composites and other materials
- Other duties as assigned
