Job summary

Silfex, Inc., A Lam Research Company, is seeking a CNC Machinist IV for our 3rd shift to operate 3- to 5-axis CNC machines and drive process improvements across work centers. You’ll play a key role in machine installations, pilot runs, and cross-functional initiatives, while serving as a technical resource for the team and supporting training efforts.

Qualifications

5+ years of CNC Machining experience on 3 to 5 axis CNC machining.
Must have machine control experience.
Understanding of input tool geometry.
Ability to troubleshoot machine errors and quality issues.
Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing.
Capable of applying and teaching standard practices within their work.

Responsibilities

Operate 3 to 5 axis CNC machine tools to machine parts per work instructions and manufacturing plan.
Startup and shutdown machines; perform new tool setup.
Verify conformance of in-process and final products with precision measurements.
Document measurements and observations in logs.
Generate maintenance work orders for machine repair and preventive maintenance.
Develop knowledge of Silfex Quality Management System and apply procedures.
