Silfex, a Lam Research Company, is seeking a skilled machinist to join our team in Wisconsin. You will set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-quality silicon components, per strict work instructions and manufacturing plans.

In this role you will perform quality inspections, document production data in PLEX, and support lean manufacturing and 5S practices. A $3000 sign-on bonus is offered for the right candidate; shift is 6pm–6am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience on 3- or 5-axis machines.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Microsoft Office experience (Excel).
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Able to perform job functions independently with frequent support.
• Basic understanding of 5S and Lean manufacturing.
• Detail oriented and quality/safety minded.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce parts per instructions.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure accurate production.
• Record production data in PLEX and track down time.
• Maintain PPE and cleanliness of work area.
• Support lean manufacturing concepts and 5S.
• Communicate with team during shift changes and meetings.
