Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a skilled Machinist (3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:30am) to operate CNC and manual machines, producing and repairing high-precision components. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Experience with GD&T and measurement tools is valued. Training and advancement opportunities exist within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade school certificate in machining preferred.
Experience operating CNC and/or manual machinery valued but not required for entry-level applicants.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical docs.
GD&T knowledge and precision measurement skills.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools to fabricate or repair precision components.
Analyze blueprints and work orders to determine machine setups and sequences.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and pi tapes to ensure specifications.
Maintain accurate inspection documentation and production records.
Adhere to safety and quality procedures and continuously seek efficiency improvements.
