Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Machinist for 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am) to operate CNC and manual machines, inspect parts with precision tools, and interpret technical drawings. The role emphasizes strict quality, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to efficiency in a safety-conscious team environment.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and perform routine maintenance while maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification preferred.
• Experience with CNC 3-axis/5-axis, grinding, milling, surface grinding, creep feed grinding.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with GD&T understanding.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machines to fabricate or repair parts.
• Analyze blueprints and work orders to determine setups and machining sequences.
• Apply GD&T to ensure product conformance and inspect with precision tools.
• Align fixtures, tools, and materials; adjust feeds and speeds for quality production.
• Perform routine maintenance and operate overhead cranes safely.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate priorities with the team.
