Job summary

The position is a Contract to Hire role in Baltimore, MD with pay between $25.00 and $32.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Several years of CNC machining and programming experience.
• Hands-on experience in a machine shop or production environment.
• Ability to program, set up, operate, and change over CNC machines (mills/routers/lathes).
• Strong blueprint reading skills and interpretation of 2D/3D drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM systems for machining applications.
• MasterCAM and SolidWorks knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate CNC programs for 3- and 5-axis machines.
• Design tooling and fixtures to support production.
• Read work orders and 2D/3D models.
• Track revisions to drawings and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to meet specs.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Ensure parts meet safety and quality standards.
• Monitor machine feed and speed for quality and efficiency.
• Assist with machine maintenance and schedules.
