A precision manufacturing firm located in Connecticut is seeking an experienced CNC 3/5-Axis Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain large format machines. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of CNC machine operation experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a strong understanding of quality standards. Responsibilities include interpreting CAD drawings, inspecting products for accuracy, and troubleshooting machinery issues. Overtime is required in this position.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and job process routing sheets.
• Ability to read, write and edit simple programs.
• Strong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Interpret schematics and CAD drawings.
• Set up and operate per op-sheets and blueprints.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy.
• Maintain machines and troubleshoot issues.
• Report major issues to management.
