Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Machinist I to operate CNC and manual machines, set up tooling, and inspect parts to exact specifications in our Illinois facility. The role includes training, a 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm, and a 10% shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0-2 years' related experience or applicable degree
• Knowledge of machines and equipment functionality and tooling usage
• Ability to operate and set up CNC equipment
• Knowledge of CNC programming/machining and basic reading/editing of programs

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Lathe and Milling/CNC machines
• Inspect machined parts to engineering specs
• Complete paperwork and document material conformances
• Utilize gauging equipment to ensure conformance
• Obtain certifications as necessary for processes
