Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Machinist I for our Niles, IL facility. You will set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines, inspect parts, and document production data. Training hours are 8:00am-4:30pm for the first two weeks, with 3:00pm-11:30pm second shift once trained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years’ experience in related work or applicable degree.
• Knowledge of machines and equipment functionality; learn systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment and inspect machined parts.
• Document production data and follow record retention requirements.
• Identify nonconforming material and support root cause actions.
