Woodward is hiring Machinist I/II for 2nd shift to operate CNC and manual machines, producing precision metal parts from engineering blueprints. The role includes performing inspections, maintaining quality standards, and supporting lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Machinist I: 0-2 years in related work or applicable degree; basic machine knowledge and ability to learn.
• Machinist II: 2-5 years in related work; ability to read drawings, use micrometers and gauges; basic GD&T knowledge; CNC programming familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC or manual machines to produce precision parts per specifications.
• Perform 1st piece inspections and assist with process optimization.
• Follow SOPs, maintain clean and organized workstations using 5S.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; ensure quality and safety standards.
