Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Machinist I to operate CNC and manual machines, producing precision metal parts per engineering specs. You will perform setups, inspections, and follow standardized procedures with a focus on quality and safety.

Requirements include 0-2 years’ experience or related degree, ability to read drawings, and knowledge of GD&T and CNC processes. We offer training, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' experience in related work or applicable degree.
• Ability to read, interpret and use engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of CNC machining including grinding, turning, milling and drilling.
• Ability to interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC or manual machines to produce precision metal parts per specifications.
• Perform basic setup, material removal, sub-assembly and inspection tasks.
• Follow SOPs, 5S, and safety guidelines to maintain productivity and quality.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to select tools and processing steps.
