Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience to produce machined parts by operating CNC equipment, following drawings and work instructions.

You will maintain quality per OOQ standards, perform routine PM, and contribute to continuous improvement while meeting safety and productivity targets in a GMP/GDP environment.

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree/certificate in tooling or machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and in accordance with machine programs and engineering drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of a variety of parts and different metals with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality is achieved by working to OOQ standards and requirements including using a range of measuring equipment and interpreting readings.
• Perform routine maintenance as per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Always follow GMP/GDP and maintain 5S/housekeeping standards in the work area.
