Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift with 3+ years of experience. You will operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines, produce machined parts to tight tolerances, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and a team-driven culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred Associate degree or Machinist apprenticeship; strong math and measurement skills are

Qualifications

3+ years CNC Machining experience.
2nd or 3rd shift availability.
Preferred Associate degree or Machinist apprenticeship.
HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances according to work instructions.
Perform difficult CNC work including progressive machining of various parts and metals with tight tolerances.
Change dull tooling and make minor offsets as needed for wear.
Ensure product quality per OOQ standards using measuring equipment and readings.
Maintain daily PM checklist and perform hand finishing as required.
Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
Identify and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues; maintain 5S in the work area.
Record activities in the job tracking system; support continuous improvement.
Collaborate with supervisor to resolve manufacturing issues.
