Job summary

PrideStaff in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC machines on small-lot runs, interpret blueprints, and maintain tight tolerances in a safety‑conscious shop.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on CNC experience, reads prints, and is comfortable with G-code/M-code. Expect a Mon-Fri schedule from 3:30 PM to 3:00 PM with hourly pay ranging from $20 to $24.

• 2+ years of hands-on CNC setup and operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with G-code and M-code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines independently for small-lot production runs with tight tolerances down to ±0.001–0.0005".
• Interpret engineering blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics to bring designs to life.
• Work with high-spec casting alloys, including sand and investment castings.
• Perform routine machine checks and maintain a safe, clean shop environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Precision Execution: Set up and operate CNC machines independently, crafting small-lot production runs with precision tolerances down to $\pm0.001 – 0.0005"$.
• Blueprint Translation: Interpret complex engineering blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical schematics to bring raw designs to life.
• Mastering Castings: Work with a wide variety of high-spec casting alloys, including sand and investment castings.
• Quality Assurance: Utilize microrings, calipers, depth gauges, and advanced precision instruments to inspect finished parts for zero-defect quality.Machine Care & Safety: Conduct routine daily equipment checks, keep machines running smoothly, and maintain an immaculate, ultra-safe shop environment.

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Technical Sharpness: Confident reading prints and using precision measurement tools.
• Code Familiarity: Practical knowledge or understanding of G-code and M-code is a big plus!
• Casting Expertise: Prior experience working with sand and investment castings is highly preferred.
