Job summary

Electron Energy Corporation in Lancaster, PA is seeking a skilled Machinist for 1st shift to set up and operate precision CNC and manual equipment, producing SmCo magnet components for aerospace and defense.

You will work independently, read blueprints, maintain tight tolerances, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to drive defect-free parts and continuous improvement. Starting pay is $25/hour with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1+ year machining/manufacturing experience.
• Blueprint reading and precision measurement proficiency.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• CNC experience preferred; G/M code knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Machinist – Precision CNC & Manual Machining

Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.

• First Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

About the Role:

Join our team producing mission-critical, high-precision SmCo magnet components for advanced industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and Semiconductor. As a Machinist working with specialty metals, you’ll work independently to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure every part meets strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:
