Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and maintain advanced CNC machines for the production of high-precision aerospace and automotive components. As a CNC Machinist with our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring that all parts meet the highest industry standards, and maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce high-precision components for aerospace and automotive industries.
  2. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure parts are manufactured to exact tolerances.
  3. Program and adjust CNC machines using appropriate software (e.g., CAD/CAM systems), including tool offsets, feeds, and speeds.
  4. Inspect and verify finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) to ensure conformance to specifications.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues, including minor repairs and maintenance, to minimize downtime.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety standards and protocols.
  7. Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to continuously improve production processes and ensure top-notch product quality.
  8. Ensure all work meets strict aerospace and automotive industry quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining preferred.
  2. Proven experience (2+ years) as a CNC Machinist in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
  3. Expertise in operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
  4. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
  5. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  8. Knowledge of aerospace and automotive industry standards is a plus.
