Job summary

Southeastern Tool & Die is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role operates, sets up, and troubleshoots CNC machines to produce high-precision parts, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

We offer a Monday–Thursday schedule (5:00 AM–3:30 PM), competitive pay starting at $18.00 per hour depending on experience, plus benefits, 401(k), and paid time off. Locally owned and proud to manufacture in America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years CNC machining experience preferred.
• Technical/trade school training is a plus.
• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines.
• Load tools, fixtures, and materials according to job requirements.
• Run and adjust CNC programs as needed to maintain quality.
• Perform tool offsets, wear adjustments, and basic program edits.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make corrections.
• Maintain production schedules and meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

About the Role
