Job summary

Searchmasters Inc in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead all front-end machining operations and drive production schedules to meet targets.

You will oversee Milling Supervisor, Lathe/Swiss Supervisor, and 2nd Shift Supervisor to ensure shop floor efficiency, partner with Back End Production Manager on forecasting and material flow, and coach frontline workers to build a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a production floor in a CNC machining environment.
• Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery and hands-on machining experience.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead all front-end machining operations and drive the execution of production schedules to meet organizational targets.
• Directly oversee a Milling Supervisor, a Lathe/Swiss Supervisor, and a 2nd Shift Supervisor to ensure seamless shop floor operations.
• Partner with the Back End Production Manager to deliver accurate forecasting, optimize material flow, and align production priorities.
• Provide hands‑on technical support and strategic planning to maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
• Supervise, coach, and develop front‑line supervisors and machinists to build a high‑performing production team.
