Job summary

Methods Machine Tools, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machine Tool Sales Representative to develop new customers and grow sales across the Southeast region. The role supports demonstrations at our technical centers and reports to the Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Territory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in machine tool or capital equipment sales, a Bachelor’s in Sales or Business, and excels at building relationships and presenting solutions to customers. Travel approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Business required.
• 4–6 years related sales experience in machine tools preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in machine tool or capital equipment sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and maintain the customer base in the assigned territory.
• Create action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships.
• Analyze and monitor sales forecast activity and profit margin performance; adjust as necessary to meet company objectives.
• Maintain forecast on new business/orders for your territory.
• Arrange product demonstrations at our technical centers.
• Establish professional relationships within the industry and partner with customers to further understand and anticipate their needs.
• Maintain daily communication with the Territory Sales Manager.
• Continuous maintenance of CRM for contacts, accounts, opportunities, quotes etc.
