Job summary

Ellison Technologies is seeking a field service professional to support CNC mills and lathes across the Dallas–Fort Worth region. You will service and install machines, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve customer issues with on-site training when needed.

Travel to various customer sites is required; weeks are typically travel-heavy with minimal overnights and no weekend shifts. You will communicate with operators, engineers, and leadership while maintaining detailed records of service

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Experience with CNC or heavy equipment maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day field service across the region: troubleshooting, installations, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues; provide sales support and occasional on-site training.
• Communicate clearly with operators, engineers, and leadership at all levels.
• Represent Ellison Technologies with professionalism and integrity on every visit.
• Maintain accurate customer records and technical documentation for cases and projects.

A day in this role

You start locally in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, schedule in hand, headed to a customer site with your company-provided cell phone, laptop, and a car allowance (with gas covered). Paperwork is light by design - freeing you to do what you do best: keep advanced CNC equipment running flawlessly and customers delighted.

Each day brings a new facility, a different challenge, and a chance to work on top-tier machines. While there's some travel, overnights during the week are minimal and there are no weekend assignments.

What you’ll tackle

• Own day-to-day field service across the region: troubleshooting, installations, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues; provide sales support and occasional on-site training.
• Communicate clearly with operators, engineers, and leadership at all levels.
• Represent Ellison Technologies with professionalism and integrity on every visit.
• Take responsibility for cases and projects, maintaining accurate customer records and technical documentation.
• Pitch in with related tasks as needed.

Your background

• Hands-on familiarity with setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Prior experience with CNC or heavy equipment maintenance.
