Job summary

Ellison Technologies in Texas is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to service CNC machining centers in the San Antonio–Austin market. You will diagnose, install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to keep machines productive.

Daily travel, clear communication with operators and maintenance leads, accurate documentation, and teamwork with sales and service colleagues are essential. Some overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day field service across the local market: repair, installation, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues; support sales efforts and deliver light user training when needed.

• Own your service cases and projects; keep accurate customer records and technical documentation.

Your morning starts in the San Antonio--Austin market, coffee in hand, headed to a customer shop where a high-precision VMC needs a quick diagnosis. By midday, you're verifying an installation checklist at another facility, and by afternoon you're wrapping up a preventive maintenance visit so your customer's spindle stays humming. Most days end close to home, with only minimal nights away during the week.
