Job summary

Ellison Technologies in Dallas-Fort Worth is seeking a field service technician to work locally with CNC machines and other top-line equipment. You will perform field service, installations, and preventive maintenance for diverse clients in the local market.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repair, and clear communication with customers. Ellison provides a car allowance, cell phone, laptop, and gas coverage to focus on servicing machines and keeping customers

Qualifications

Familiar with setup and operation of CNC mill/lathe.
Prior exposure to CNC or heavy equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training.
Communicate effectively with a variety of different people.
Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What makes this role interesting, is that you have the opportunity to be in different facilities with different projects and challenges each day. There is some travel required, however we expected to be in the local area with minimal nights away during the week; no weekends)

Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.

Essential Duties include:
