Job summary

Ellison Technologies in the Chicago area seeks a Field Services Engineer to support local clients, performing on-site service, installations and preventive maintenance on CNC machinery. You will travel regionally with minimal nights away, tackling diverse projects and collaborating with a broad customer base while documenting work and maintaining records.

As a Field Services Engineer, you’ll support clients across a locally defined territory with a primary focus on the chicagoland Market. You’ll work hands-on with cutting‑edge technology while partnering with a diverse client base—all within an organization that truly backs its service technicians.

Responsibilities

What makes this role interesting, is that you have the opportunity to be in different facilities with different projects and challenges each day. There is some travel required, however we expected to be in the local area with minimal nights away during the week; no weekends)

Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.

Qualifications

What are we looking for? Ideally someone with experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing, of CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. With this experience we’re looking for developed repair skills, focused on the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of your craft.
