Job summary

Ellison Technologies in the San Antonio–Austin market is seeking a field service technician to install, service, and maintain CNC machines at client sites. You will travel locally to support top-of-the-line equipment and ensure customer uptime.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, mechanical/hydraulic/electrical repairs, and clear communication with diverse customers. Travel is primarily local with minimal nights away, supporting multiple facilities and projects.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing CNC machining centers and turning centers with focus on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects.
• Ability to create and follow preventive maintenance plans and PM schedules.
• Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing CNC equipment in customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
• Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training.
• Communicate effectively with a variety of different people.
• Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
• Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What makes this role interesting, is that you have the opportunity to be in different facilities kind of working on different projects and different challenges each day. There is some travel required, however we expected to be in the local area with minimal nights away during the week)

Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.
