Job summary

A leading technology service provider in Dallas is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installations and maintenance of CNC equipment. This role requires effective communication and customer support, with an emphasis on professionalism. Candidates should be familiar with CNC mills/lathe operation and have previous experience in maintenance. The position involves some travel but focuses mostly on local service with no weekend commitments.

Overview

In this role you will have the opportunity to work locally (Dallas-Fort Worth) with some of the latest technology and a myriad clients in an organization that supports their service technicians!

We provide a car allowance, a company cell phone, a laptop, we take care of your gas, and try to get the reports and other things out of your way so you can focus on what you do best – work on top of the line machines and make your customers raving fans!

Responsibilities

What makes this role interesting, is that you have the opportunity to be in different facilities with different projects and challenges each day. There is some travel required, however we expected to be in the local area with minimal nights away during the week; no weekends)

Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.

Essential Duties include:

• Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
• Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training
• Communicate effectively with a variety of different people
• Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
• Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
• Other related duties as assigned.
