Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Durham, NH is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to support production goals and quality standards. This onsite role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

You will set up, calibrate, and operate CNC production machines, follow diagrams, inspect finished parts with precision tools, perform routine maintenance, document results, and ensure safety and efficiency on the shop floor. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Completion of CNC Machine Operating technical school program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibration, and operation of CNC production machines.
• Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
• Inspect machining operations and finished products against tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Set up and operate CNC production machines according to procedures.
• Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure machines.
• Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
