Job summary

Collins Aerospace, York, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. You will operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, hones, and other specialized equipment to convert raw materials into precision semi-finished goods. The role includes finish work and marking of parts in production within a clean, climate-controlled facility.

External applicants are eligible for a $3,500 sign on bonus. You will learn safety, quality standards, and gain experience with CNC machines while collaborating

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, hones, and other CNC/manual equipment while performing finish work and marking of parts in production stages.
• Set up and run machines on various operations across multiple machines to convert raw materials into precision semi-finished goods within print tolerance specifications.
• Obtain inspection certification through on-the-job training and testing.
