Job summary

Collins Aerospace, York Ne, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, hones and other specialized equipment to convert raw materials into precision semi-finished goods. This work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled facility prioritizing safety and quality.

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm with training 7:00 am – 3:00 pm for a limited time. External applicants may receive a $3,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with measurement equipment (gauges, calipers) and basic hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and ensure shop floor quality.
• Experience with CNC machines and setup of multiple operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, hones, and other equipment to produce precision parts.
• Set up and run machines across diverse operations within print tolerances.
• Obtain inspection certification through on-the-job training and testing.
