Job summary

Surestaff, LLC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Carol Stream, IL. The role involves safe operation of CNC equipment, basic inspections, and maintaining workflow. You will read prints, follow control plans, and document production data while collaborating with supervisors and quality staff.

Temp-to-hire with competitive pay and benefits. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, location in Carol Stream, IL. Prior machining experience and basic math skills are preferred to support ongoing efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating production machinery.
• Must be proficient in basic math.
• Experience using gauges and calipers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Learn and perform basic CNC operation under supervision.
• Load/unload materials, identify jobs, and maintain part flow.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and visual inspections with basic measuring tools.
• Read and follow prints, control plans, quality alerts, and standard work documents.
• Record production, inspection, downtime, and other information accurately.
• Communicate with supervisor, trainer, quality personnel, and other operators.
• Support continuous improvement activities and training.
