Job summary

Surestaff, LLC is hiring an experienced CNC Operator and Finishing Operator in Elgin, IL. The role requires operating CNC and finishing equipment, reading blueprints, and using computer controls in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong computer skills and a stable work history, able to work independently on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, BOE.

Job description

Position Details:

Pay Rate: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay: $20-$24/HR BOE

CNC Operator Responsibilities

A CNC Operator is responsible for operating computerized machines that cut, drill, route, or shape materials such as wood, plastic, or metal.

• Operating CNC routers or milling machines.
• Loading materials into the machine.
• Reading blueprints and work orders.
• Entering or selecting machine programs.
• Measuring finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Finishing Operator Responsibilities

A Finishing Operator is responsible for completing the product after it comes off the CNC machine.

• Sanding and trimming finished parts.
• Cleaning and inspecting products for quality.
• Assembling components as needed.
• Applying laminates, adhesives, or protective finishes.
• Packaging completed products for shipment.
• Ensuring all finished products meet quality standards.
