Job summary

American StaffCorp is seeking a CNC Machinist/Operator to perform basic setups and keep a CNC machine running to produce production parts. The role requires reading blueprints, using G-Codes/M-Codes, and maintaining quality with safety standards.

You will set up mills/ lathes, install tools, adjust offsets, and monitor operations, reporting issues to supervisors as needed. Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform intermediate CNC operations from blueprints, drawings, and procedures.
• Familiar with G-Codes and M-Codes and able to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of basic tools and CNC machines; computer literacy for automation systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe/mill to produce machined parts while maintaining quality and safety.
• Setup CNC machine including tool selection, loading programs, and offset adjustments.
• Review setup sheets to determine procedures, sequences and dimensions.
• Monitor machine operation and report errors to supervisor promptly.
• Read engineering drawings and enter commands to store or retrieve patterns.
