Kelly Services in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for 2nd shift. The role requires setting up and operating CNC machines to fabricate parts according to drawings, with a focus on safety and quality.

Candidates should have CNC experience and the ability to learn new operations. Position is temp to hire with a pay rate of $19 per hour, Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, in a manufacturing environment emphasizing 5S and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of CNC experience, including lathes or mills.
• Strong manufacturing background and ability to learn CNC operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts per work orders and drawings.
• Load parts, cycle machines, and identify malfunctions including worn tools.
• Deburr, de-gate, or polish parts with hand tools.
• Package production per router steps and stamp off operations.
• Run production lots and communicate with coworkers on runs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace following 5S.
• Complete paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Produce quality parts meeting specs and deadlines, minimize scrap.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to output, quality, cost and delivery.
• Escalate problems within the department as they arise.
