Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in Cleveland is hiring a CNC Lathe Set Up, Production Operator for the 2nd shift. You will interpret drawings, set up CNC lathe operations, select and verify tools, and ensure quality per prints and ISO standards.

The role requires measuring device proficiency, blueprint reading, and the ability to read process sheets. Starting pay ranges from $26 to $30 per hour with a $2 shift differential; benefits begin on day 1, plus 401(k) with match and PTO.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Able to read basic measuring devices including micrometers and calipers.
• Must complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

• Set up to operate CNC Lathe machinery and uphold production standards and ISO 9001.
• Inspect product to print and identify flaws; perform deburring if needed.
• Interpret drawings, process sheets, and shop orders to plan work.
• Obtain tools from tool crib, mount and verify accuracy.
• Determine operation sequences from drawings and instructions.
• Make calculations for tool depth and compensation adjustments.
• Move completed material to the next workstation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
