Daifuku North America is seeking a CNC Laser Operator for first shift. The role requires reading blueprints and tape measures, operating CNC laser cutting equipment, and performing routine maintenance and inspections.

Candidates should have 2+ years of CNC operating experience and OSHA safety awareness, with certifications for LOTO, crane, and forklift preferred. Work hours are 5:00am–1:30pm, Monday through Friday, in Hobart, Indiana.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of CNC operating experience & troubleshooting.
• Certificate and completion of CNC Laser operation training program experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate single or multiple CNC laser cutting machines, loading material and adjusting focal point, feed rate, power and related parameters.
• Perform tests and procedures to maintain machine optics: tape shots, lens focusing, cleaning, nozzle cleaning, and replacing worn items.
• Label finished parts and deliver to designated areas.
• Monitor laser operations for safe and proper function.
• Record machine code errors and communicate performance issues to supervisor.
• Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers and tape measures.
• De-burring and cleaning of parts; maintain quality, productivity and safety records.
• Maintain supplies and perform regular preventive maintenance.
