Job summary

AREA TEMPS, INC. seeks a CNC Machinist who can also program Grinding and Milling Machines. The role offers flexible workdays: 5–8 hours or 4–10 hours per day, depending on project needs.

You will run surface grinders, develop grinding strategies for complex geometries, and modify existing G-code as needed. Responsibilities include setting up pieces based on smart work-holding selections, interpreting blueprints with engineering, and measuring with gages while learning non-standard/custom gauges.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC surface grinders.
• Ability to devise grinding strategies for complex geometries.
• Familiarity with wheel dressing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run CNC Surface Grinders (Fanuc O-M Controls on two machines; conventional programming on the third).
• Devise a grinding strategy to match complex geometries accurately.
• Understand CNC wheel dressing to produce required geometry.
