Job summary

Skillsource Group, Inc. is seeking a CNC Grinder Setup Machinist-Programmer for a full-time position in Burlington, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC surface grinders, particularly Okamoto models. This role involves programming, operation, and troubleshooting of machines, as well as training and mentoring fellow machinists.

Full-time direct‑hire position on 1st or 2nd shift at an aerospace precision machining facility near Burlington, MA. Competitive compensation and benefits, including full medical coverage offered by some clients.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate Fanuc‑controlled CNC surface grinders, with a focus on Okamoto models.
• Operate and troubleshoot machines, performing minor edits to programming as needed.
• Communicate with machines using Okamoto conversational commands.
• Train and mentor other machinists, an important qualification.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high quality and productivity.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience operating Fanuc‑controlled surface grinders.
• Experience with Okamoto machines preferred.
• Strong programming, setup, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train others.
