Job summary

Haas Factory Outlet Trident is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites across New England, install, troubleshoot and repair machine tool equipment and controls. You will use manuals and vendor resources to diagnose issues and document the status of repairs for customers and office teams.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical repair skills, the ability to read schematics, and excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/electrical repair of diesel engines, generators, automotive, industrial machinery, HVAC, EDM/Laser/Waterjet/CNC machine tools; Haas CNC Repair background a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Strong customer service, technical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine tool equipment and controls.
• Research machine issues using manuals and vendor resources.
• Document status of machine issues, repairs and installation for office and customer.
• Promote and perform preventative maintenance and provide after-sales technical support and training.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and products represented by the company.
