Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support CNC lathes and machining centers. You will troubleshoot, install, test, and train on-site, while documenting activities and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree or military technical experience, hands-on electrical/mechanical skills, PLC knowledge a plus, and willingness to travel regionally with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent military technical experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment; PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery including mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulics.
• Install and test after installation to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide on-site training to customer operators on machine function and safety.
• Document service activities, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions.
• Manage a regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays.
