Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Electromechanical to service CNC machinery across client sites.

The role requires hands-on electromechanical expertise, independence, and the ability to train customer operators on machine function, maintenance, and safety. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues, perform post-installation testing, and document all activities.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent military technical experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment; PLCs a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/schematics; diagnostic tools use.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery.
• Install & Test: Perform post-installation testing to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Train & Educate: Conduct on-site training for customer operators on machine function, maintenance and safety.
• Document: Accurately log service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions.
• Travel: Manage regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays to support customer sites.
