Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Electromechanical to troubleshoot, install, train, and service CNC machinery across customer sites. You will operate as a hands-on technical expert, with regular travel and regional schedule management.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, independent work, and ongoing training in hydraulics, pneumatics, and sensors. A 2-year technical degree or military experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent military technical experience or maintenance background.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment; PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/schematics; use diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & repair: diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery.
• Install & test: perform post-installation testing for optimal machine performance.
• Train & educate: conduct on-site training for customer operators on machine function, maintenance, and safety.
• Document: accurately log service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions.
• Travel: manage regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays to support customer sites.
