Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer for CNC & Industrial Machinery in Atlanta, GA. This full-time, travel-based role offers a compensation range of $80,000–$100,000 plus benefits. The technician will work independently from home base, providing expert support for CNC lathes and machining centers.

You will troubleshoot, install, train, and document service activities while managing a regional travel schedule and overnight stays to support customer sites.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or military equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment; PLCs a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics; use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and related systems.
• Install and test post-installation performance of machines.
• Train customer operators on machine function, maintenance, and safety.
• Accurately log service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions.
• Travel region with overnight stays to support customer sites.
