Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a leader in manufacturing to provide on-site and remote support for CNC machine tools. You will perform maintenance, repair, and installation, document service activities, and train customer staff.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, experience with DMG MORI, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate Degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of CNC machine tools.
• Experience with DMG MORI, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service focus.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools on location or via telephone.
• Create and update technical documentation and reports on service activities.
• Assist and train Customer’s Service Engineers on new product lines and maintenance procedures.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and customer service relationships with clients.
• Manage challenging customer situations professionally and solicit feedback for service improvement.
